Get it in your notch, not your inbox

Vibe Island puts every stage in your MacBook notch the moment it is posted, then tells you separately when your own account is back.

What else it tells you

  • An announcement is not your account. Resets roll out account by account. Vibe Island reads your own 5-hour and weekly Codex windows, so it knows when yours is really back, including early resets.
  • Reset Cards. When one lands, you see how many you have and when the earliest expires, with a reminder before it runs out.
  • Claude and Cursor too. They reset on your own schedule; see every provider's window in one place with usage tracking.

Common questions

Did Codex reset today?

The status at the top of this page answers it. It changes when a reset is hinted at, scheduled with a time, or announced as done, and it shows when it was last checked.

When does Codex reset?

Your own 5-hour and weekly Codex windows reset on a fixed schedule per account. On top of that, OpenAI sometimes resets everyone's limits early and announces it on X. There is no published calendar for those early resets.

Does a scheduled reset mean my limit is already back?

No. A scheduled time is an announcement. Resets reach accounts one by one, so check your own usage, or let Vibe Island tell you when your account actually refreshes.

What is a Codex Reset Card?

A banked reset you can use later. When OpenAI grants them, Vibe Island shows how many you have and when the earliest one expires, and reminds you before it does.

How do I get notified about Codex resets?

Install Vibe Island on your Mac. Reset announcements appear in the notch as they are posted, and the app confirms separately when your own account refreshes. No email or Telegram signup.
