Real-time Grok Build session monitoring

Grok Build sessions appear in the notch as they start, run tools, wait, and finish. Each card keeps its own project and session identity, so several Grok Build tasks can run beside your other agents without turning into a pile of anonymous terminal tabs.

Know when Grok needs attention

When Grok Build pauses for a permission, a question, or a plan decision, Vibe Island tells you which session needs attention. One click takes you back to Grok to make the decision in its native interface. Vibe Island observes these prompts; it does not claim to approve or answer them on Grok Build's behalf.

Completion previews and notifications

When a Grok Build turn finishes, the completion card shows the latest response preview and Vibe Island can send a macOS notification. You can decide whether the result needs a follow-up before switching away from the work already in front of you.

Precise terminal jump

Click a Grok Build session to return to the exact terminal tab or split pane where it is running. Vibe Island supports Terminal.app, iTerm2, Ghostty, Warp, WezTerm, Kitty, Zellij, VS Code, Cursor, and more, including tmux and split-pane workflows.

Zero-config, local setup

Vibe Island detects Grok Build and configures its integration on first launch. There are no API keys to add and no project data is uploaded for monitoring. Existing Grok Build settings are preserved.

Run Grok Build beside every other agent

Mix Grok Build with Claude Code, Codex CLI, ZCode, Gemini CLI, Antigravity CLI, Cursor Agent, Trae, OpenCode, MiMoCode, Factory Droid, Qoder, Qwen, Kimi Code, DeepSeek, Mistral Vibe, Copilot, CodeBuddy, WorkBuddy, Kiro, Hermes, Amp, Pi Agent, Oh My Pi, and Gajae Code. Every session appears in one AI coding session monitor, so parallel work stays visible without constant tab checking. Remote workflows are covered through SSH monitoring too.

Frequently asked questions

Can I approve Grok Build permissions from the notch?

Not today. Vibe Island shows when Grok Build needs attention and jumps you back to the correct session, while Grok's own interface remains responsible for the final decision.

Will I see Grok Build alongside Claude Code and Codex?

Yes. Grok Build uses its own session identity and appears beside every other supported agent in the same notch panel.

Does setup change my existing Grok Build configuration?

No. Vibe Island adds its own managed integration and preserves the rest of your Grok Build setup.
