Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Vibe Island ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Vibe Island on 1 personal device (Mac) that you own or control.

  • The license is perpetual — you can use the App indefinitely.
  • Free updates are included with your purchase.

3. Trial Period

Vibe Island offers a free trial period. During the trial, all features are available. After the trial expires, some features require a license key. Core monitoring remains available in Free Mode.

4. Payment & Refunds

Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy or Creem), who handles billing, taxes, and compliance on our behalf.

  • All prices are in USD and include applicable taxes.
  • Refund requests can be submitted within 14 days of purchase by contacting [email protected].
  • Refunds are processed through the original payment method.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or license keys
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Share your license key with others outside your personal use
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual Property

Vibe Island, including its source code, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of Edward Luo. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Vibe Island depends on third-party tools (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI) whose behavior is outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edward Luo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App or website.
